Governing Body

The Governing Body has a valued and important role in the running of the school. The Governors meet at least five times a year and are actively involved in many school activities. Southdale has a strong, supportive  and committed Governing Body, which was praised in our recent Ofsted report. The Governors are responsible for supporting the school and ensuring that the Head Teacher, children, staff and the wider community get the school they deserve.  As a church school we have strong links with the local church community and with Christ Church in particular.; this is strengthened by having the vicar, Rev. John Harris as our chair of governors.
